I've been trying to track 4 TAYLORs found in the the 1810 Albemarle Co. Census to find out the names of their sons: George (26-45); James (45+); John (45+), and William (26-45) TAYLOR. I am in the hopes that one of these four will be the father of: My (3) gr. grandfather, Thomas Taylor, b. 1781 and d. in 1861 in Nelson County, VA. He died in probate and no information given. Thomas was first located in the 1810 Amherst Co Census Then located in 1820 through 1860 Nelson Co. Census. The 1810 Amherst Co Census lists the following Taylor's also: Jeremiah (45+); James (45+); William (45+); Daniel (26-45); Frances (45+); Edward Sen (45+); George (26-45); Moses (45+); George (26-45); John (45+); and John (26-45). If anyone has information as to the sons of ANY of the above (even if not Thomas) please let me know so I can eliminate that individual from my searches.
