Carol: I have a Wylie Taylor in my line. I don't have too much information on him, but he married Nancy McFaddin and his daughter, Annie Lee Taylor, b. 1889, married James Samuel Clark in Nelson County, VA. So, there may be some connection. I was doing some research in Buckingham County the other day and I saw many Taylor names and McFadden too! Maybe you should look there for your man!
