The Bedford Court Order of 1761 suggests to me the road might have led to the Fluvanna River (Upper James) ?? Bill Hunt William Edwards, Richard Edwards, and Michael Prewet, are appointed to view a way for a Road from where Hunts Ferry road intercepts the County line leading to Albemarle Court and make report.
