I e-mailed my sister in Wisc who is a Family History Center Director, and this is her response: Bon, The charge is recommended by the church to all FHC'c that are "online" to offset the cost of the internet connection. Each FHC was requested to fill out a form and submit it to SLC for internet approval. The church will foot the bill for the modem and any necessary installation charges to assist an FHC to get online. Then, the FHC is responsible for the remaining fees. It would be like charging to make copies, etc. Each FHC needs to determine what it's costs would be and charge accordingly. The guidelines were strict that no FHC could make any profit from these fees, if so they were to make an immediate adjustment. Den -------Original Message------- From: Sandra E. T.
