I am new to the list and I have a couple of questions. 1) Some of my family records mention a place called Esmont, and a few mention Esmond. I'm assuming it's the same place, just misspelled, but which one is right? 2) I'm looking for info for William "Old" Wingfield and his wife Dorothy Minor Childress. He was born April 2, 1836 in Albemarle and she was born July 5, 1842 in Albemarle. They were married Feb 22, 1868. Would anyone have any other info? Thank you so much. Glenn Ramsey
