Seeking information about the Vaughan family in the mid to late 1700's in Albemarle, Goochland/Bedford area. There was a Joseph Vaughan who married Ann Payne in Goochland in 1770, later shows in Bedford records, and thought to have been in the Albemarle records. The counties lines changed during that time. One of Joseph's daughters was Clary Vaughan who married Thomas Howell. Any info about the Vaughan family will be appreciated.
