Hi List. I am new to this list and I am hoping that you can help me with information on my ancestor ICY SNOW I think she was born ca. 1740 - 1744. And believe she died by ca 1796. I do know she was married to John Spencer. I have two form's of proof. 1. I have a page from a book from Fulton Co. Illinois 1890 history book that states that E.D. SPENCER can trace his ancestor's back to a JOHN SPENCER and ICY SNOW of Loudoun Co. Va. 2.Land transaction between JOHN SPENCER and ICEY his wife and GEORGE LEWIS. Loudoun Co. Va. 1778. In the presence of GEORGE SUMMERS, JAMES LEWIS, AMARISH BONHAM ? CHARLES LEWIS, BENJAMIN MASON. Children of John Spencer and Icey Snow documented : 1.Daivd Spencer born 19 Mar 1768 ? married to Mary Grove. died 29 Dec. 1823 [ Documentation that David son of John] 2.Mary Spencer : born 15 Oct. 1774 married 19 April 1795 to Benjamin James : Mary died 20 Oct. 1830, I believe in Loudoun Co. Va. [Documentation] By way of record's and book's I believe Mary to be John and Icy's second daughter I think it is possible that her older sister is : Elizabeth Spencer -m- Frances Gulick 1 July 1801 ? Bondman James Hunt and John Spencer JOHN SPENCER married Phoebe Rightmire ca 1794. Any help anyone can give me would be wonderful as this a real brick wall for me. Thank You Sondra
