Is there anyone else out there searching the Tompkins/Thompkins in Virginia? I am looking for the parents of Edward B. Tompkins b. 1811 somewhere in Virginia (according to census records). The only iformation I have is that he married a lady named Pheobe Russell that was born in Virginia in 1811.Both families apparently left Virginia and came to Ohio. Because they were married on January 5, 1832 in Belmont County, Ohio. Anyone with any information it will be greatly appreciated. I have Ohio Tompkins family information if anyone needs it.
