Hello, I have just joined this list and am searching for information about an Elijah Johnson. I am not sure he is from Albemarle but the 1840 census had a whole nest of Johnson's and Elijah was one. Elijah and his wife Anna were both born about 1795. I know positively of 1 son, John P. Johnson. All were born in Virginia. They moved to Kentucky and show up there in the 1850 census in Morgan County. John P. Johnson was born August 7, 1822. These are my ggg-grandfather and my gggg-grandparents. If anyone can help me identify this family it would be greatly appretiated. I have information on John P. and his family but know nothing about Elijah and Anna. Thank you, JO
