The Va Geneal Society Newsletter for June 99 has on page 8&9 the Episcopal Church Parishes-Virginia that were est. before before 1800 with extant Vestry Records before 1800.This particular listing did not include parish registers. There is a St. Martin's for Hanover with no vestry book listed. This list does not show a St. Martins for Hanover or Louisa. A Trinity is given for Louisa but with no Vestry books noted. Crest

    3. I am looking of info on a Walker Vass who resided in Orange Co. Va. He was the son of Philip Vincent Vass, Jr. His brothers were Thomas and Henry. Walker married Francis Lee in Orange Co on Nov. 12, 1815. Witnesses were Thomas and Mary Vass, the bride's father, William Lee. I think that his brother, Thomas is my ancestor, but need proof.     2. I am searching for contemporaries and ancestors of SAMUEL DEDMAN b. abt.1720 in Hanover Co. which later became Louisa Co. VA. He died in 1800 in Albemarle Co.
