    1. [VAALBEMA-L] PLEASE!!! NO MORE!
    2. Karen Hall Blunk
    3. I have been asked by subscribers to remind you that we are NOT having a roll call. We will not be having a roll call until October. PLEASE, show some courtesy to the list and do not post any more "roll call" messages. I'm sure some are wondering why I would make such a big deal of this. 1) Other subscribers are complaining about it and 2) almost 20 subscribers have unsubscribed since it began. Thank you for your consideration. Please contact me at mailto:[email protected]?subject=VAALBEMA if you have comments or questions about this message or the list. 1. [VAALBEMA-L] New Listowner Needed
    2. Karen Hall Blunk
    3. Hi, friends. Because of family and business issues that need my full attention right now, I will no longer be able to manage the list. My hope is that one or more of you will assume responsibility for managing the list. It doesn't usually take a lot of time - primarily, there are times when someone will need help subscribing or unsubscribing. Several lists I know of have more than one person managing them, so sharing the responsibility might be an option for some of you. Naturally, if the new listowner continues roll calls in April and October, that would require 3 or 4 days, during those times, of monitoring the list more intensely and helping those who need to unsubscribe during the roll call. A listowner should be a contributor to RootsWeb (min. $12/year). Please contact me if you are interested. Thanks. 3. I have 2 Page lines: one from Robert Page (1743-1817, I think... he is supposed to be the Robert Page who had land on Taylor's Creek )b. VA, m. Mary Jane Murrell, and both died in Adair County, KY, leaving many descendants in both VA and KY; my line comes through their son Nicholas Page(1780-1817); the other line is not mine but collateral, from William E. Page (1833-1888) b. Albemarle or Nelson Co.? VA, m. Mildred Franklin Suddarth, family moved to Washington County, VA, and then back to Albemarle(North Garden-Cross Roads area). If any of this seems to fit, I'd like to share info. -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] <[email protected]> To: [email protected] <[email protected]> Date: Thursday, August 05, 1999 7:23 PM Subject: [VAALBEMA-L] PAGE family >Gale, >What Pages are you researching? >Donna > >At 07:53 PM 8/4/1999 EDT, you wrote: >>My Va Lines are: >> >>Hodge >>Page >>Wilkes >>Terrell >>Lewis >>Martin >> Thanks, Gale > >______________________________
