Unfortunately, those who speak as you mentioned quite usually have never realized that to brand evidence, as "primary," "secondary" or whatever else folks use as labels, serves to prove absolutely nothing, does not convince anybody of anything, and wholly fails to assist any of us in our search. Good genealogists weigh, measure, test and consider ALL evidence, NO MATTER how small and insignificant it may seem to be or how it is labeled by anyone anyplace.
