HI the Charlotte County Johnsons have one DNA known Contact to my research that is William Johnston-Johnson married to ELizabeth Hutenson-Hutcheson. There is a Known:: John H.Johnson who died interstate ,he is brother of Samuel Johnston married to Elizabeth Ballenger, and his brother James Johnson married to Joyce Wells.James Johnson and wife stayed in what became Henry County. Samuel Johnston and wife went down to Ga. then back into Limestone Co.Al. Part of Charlottes Co. since it formed include Areas of now Patrick, Pittsylvania,& Henry Co. Some how my Hudson Johnston-Johnson is connected to the above as he is in the Tithable list of Henry CO. in 1778 living with the above James Johnson, in 1780 with a William Johnson:::: Samuel Johnston above sold the land that was possible that of William Johnston from a 1779 Land Grant from Gov.
