The James Hall of the will was a son of Instance Hall of Amelia Co, I believe. The son, Benjamin Hall, died in North Carolina about 14 years later. James' wife was Ruth Evans. The children of Instance Hall and wife Mary Wilson were : James, Judith, Instant, John, Frances, George and William H. Several of the grandchildren of James and Ruth Hall went to live in Halifax county. From all I can tell, this family is not connected to the Benjamin Hall who was married to Wilmouth Irby and died in Halifax co. in 1803 ----- Original Message ----- From: "Audrey Pool" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: January 12, 2004 10:26 Subject: Fw: [VA-SOUTHSIDE-L] Benj.
