I want to thank everyone who has so generously supplied information about my (presumed) ancestor Agatha (Keeling?) Williams. New information casts doubt on my ancestor Hutchins Burton as being her son. A granddaughter of my Hutchins challenged his estate in court in Halifax VA , citing his death as 1828. There are many Hutchins/Hutchings Burton, but I cannot find more information about one who died in 1828. I descend through his son William Burton who married Mary "Polly" Wade.
