    2. I am currently having trouble signing into Heritage Quest via my local library. I keep getting an invalid login error message. I haven't used Heritage Quest in several weeks and sometimes used it on two different computers at my house. Can anyone give me a clue as to what might be the problem? Thanks, Barbara

    3. I have no problems; why not call your server on-line assistance - "technical support". ----- Original Message ----- From: BOH1156@aol.com To: VA-SOUTHSIDE-L@rootsweb.com Sent: Sunday, August 07, 2005 7:12 PM Subject: Re: [VA-SOUTHSIDE-L] Heritage Quest - Does Your Local Library ... 3. On another list I am on people are talking about it tonight also. Both use earthlink and thought that might be a clue. Also one uses Heritage Quest through their library and one through Godfrey. Same thing invalid log in. The person tried their Godfrey password without luck. But they had gotten in to Godfrey itself fine. I just tried the census via Godfrey and my local library and had no problem with either. http://lists.rootsweb.com/index/other/Internet_Help/GODFREY-LIBRARY-HELP.html Check out the Godfrey help list archives You can go to the link and browse the archives for the messages and join if you want to ask for help. Consider Godfrey like it's your local library:-). 3. Sometimes Heritage Quest log-in problems are related to the unique set-up of your personal computer (i.e. firewalls, etc.) If you are having problems, contact your local library and they can give you a phone number for Heritage Quest technical support and Heritage Quest will troubleshoot your computer and help you overcome your log-in problems. Also Heritage Quest occasionally has technical problems of its own and their database is temporarily inaccessible. If you are unable to access their database from the same computer which you have previously used for access, it may be a temporary problem on their end. Just try again later.
