I'm looking at a list of registered Marks and Brands for 1796 and had a question. Would a single person have two different registered marks/brands or should I assume it is two different people with the same name? For example John Smith = smooth crop of right ear and two slits in left ear John Smith = swallow tail in right ear and slit under left ear Thanks! Joel
