    3. I'm not an expert but- In Louisville I would try the Kentucky Derby Museum first, they had at the time I went listed all the way back to 1700 lineage of horses and owners. U of KY in Lexington, also in Lexington is the Horse Park, and the Ky horse center, why not try the Churchill Downs. Versailles in where most of the breeding farms are. The older ones are still outside Lexington and Louisville.
