Va:::son of Joseph Johnson son of Micheal Johnson David Shows up as an an adult in court records in the late 1750's> He appears to have married twice: unknown First wife::three children Mary Johnson abt 1755:: Morris abt 1762 and Joshua between 1766-1770::: David goes in and out of tax records in Lunenburg Co and once is in Halifax Co. records. David owend land he bought from Josiah Shipp on Crupper run, Lunenburg CO.Va which is beside Coxes, Estes, and Chandlers not far from Joseph Johnson. Crupper run seems to be west of the Middle Fork of the Meherrin River and was at one time called Robertsons Fork. David Johnsons second wife was called Rachel: their Children Sarah Johnson::Hester Johnson:::Charity Johnson::Samuel Johnson:: Anny Johnson:: and Frances Johnson: Frances was born in 1782 per census in South Carolina> David Johnson and family left about 1787 and ended up in Edgefield District South Carolina, David Johnson died 1797 in Edgfield his wife died abt 1 year later.Morris Johnson was in Edgefield SC by the time his father died.All fof David Johnsons son were in Edgefield SC by 1800, She has lots of information on.
