Whenever anyone on the List makes a false statement about any topic, it is appropriate that they be politely corrected. I want to thank Mignon and Margaret for politely correcting the false statement that Catholics and similar traditonal Christian Churches believed that unbaptized babies would burn in Hell if they died in infancy. Religion is an important part of genealogical study because many of our ancestors came to this country to practice their religions more freely while they were pursuing new economic opportunities. We all want to learn who our ancestors were and what they stood for. When they are misrepresented, we naturally want to make corrections. We can all learn from these discussions. Now, lets move on and please let us keep our discussions polite. Janice Branch Fox
