I am getting ready to travel to Richmond to see what I can find on my line of Staples. Do any of you have relatives that match mine? My gg grandfather was Thomas Hamilton Staples and his 2nd wife was Jane Jeffress McCutcheon. Their children were Servitus Adison Staples, James Thomas Staples, Egbert Alexander Staples and my ggrandfather Melancthon Luther Staples, who married 1st, Mary Cornelia Wall and 2nd Ella Lee . My grandfather was Melancthon Luther Jr.. I believe that he was born in Lunenburg, Oct.23, 1880. Is anyone out there connected to these brothers or have information that would help me?
