Found some more infor on family in Revolutionary Patriots of Buckingham Co., VA by Carl Coleman Rosen. Pg. 93/94. Gevedann (Gevidon, Gevandin), John W884 (Mary) Private B. in Buckingham Co, VA in 1757. Lived there until 1823 when he moved to Shelby Co.,Kentucky where he lived 3 years, then moved to Henry Co. Kentucky. Entered Rev. Service in Buckingham Co, VA in Oct 1776.( Will not type the whole service record but he witnessed the surrender at Yorktown.) A Jan. 31, 1785 Goochland Co., VA marriage bond lists John Gevidon as married to Mary Mims, Security Drury Mims. Widon states that her husband died April 17, 1835. She applied for and received a pension. Shadrick M. Gevidon declared on Sept 1838 that he was the son of John Gevidon and Mary and thinks he was born in 1785. Sandra W. Due
