According to my Road Atlas, it appears (sadly <smile>) that Blue Ridge is on the border between Bedford and Botetourt Co. It is about 10-12 miles north est of Roanoke (mostly north) on state route 221. it is just down the ridge from the Blue Ridge Mtn parkway which transverses the ridge at the top, ended around Front Royal. Have you tried mapquest.com. or yahoo.com's map link? (Also the GNIS link that Bob Juch just recommended, though I've had some trouble periodically with it being down lately). Good Luck! Janet Hunter
