Note of Interest:: William Johnson patented Land in 1779 on Turkey Cocke Creek and would have to be 21 years of age:: so born before 1758::: Same age as Naum if I remember Right:: Naum- Naham was on 1785 Census of AMelia CO. age would be 21 so born before 1764) AC Johnson is a name of interest as it was said by some one I had corresponded with several years ago that an AC JOhnson in Kentucky was related to my Hudson Johnson. BUt they never got Back to me with any more info as they were moving and their Records were packed up. Also of Note On tax lists via deeds the Johnson, Hatcher, Wards I have found on Cross Deeds all Start in Brunswick::: William and Samuel Johnson had to have patented thier land on some Creek ( unknown at this time I am still Cross referencing) But in 1748 they are in Lunenburg Co. with 4 other Johnson Families two of which are off the Lines Of Michael Johnson as they Isaac and Joseph in 1756 or 59, they sell land that was owned my Michael Johnson::I have a good list know going on these two Off springs ( but not on what creek they owned Land)>> Back to thoughts:: Next Johnson is A Samuel Johnston in 1753 patenented Land on Wards Creek in 1753 in Lunenburg CO. but he doesn't appear on any Lunenburg or Halifax County Tithables:::1753-1770 These Balingers are going to be related some time as they Were all presberterians that Came with the Caldwell group that settled on Cubb Creek, with numerous lands ajoining Wards Creek. they bought over 16,000 acres.On first purchase in Lunenburg Co. Va I need an early copy of Ameilia County Titahbales and Tax list for the Johnsons on it.AS in 1750 All of the Wards and Cubb Creek people from 1748 Lunenburg Tithables are in AMelia COunty Deeds. IN 1777 Samuel Johnston (Nancys ) is now in Pittslyvania County for a short Time until Henry County was formed. The People did not move the County Lines kept changing on them, or they kept joining and rej-oining Counties. It is great to know everything we can on this Group of Johnson's I just wished there was a Male for a DNA Test.
