    3. I am a Johnson Researcher stuck on Hudson Johnson-Johnston in Henry Co. 1778-1779-1780 Tithable Lists, THere is so many Counties formed from Lunenburg Co. original from Brunswick I am trying to get discussion going on which lines are on What areas as the COunty Lines changed so much it is hard to follow a family. example is Wards Creek, the North and SOuth SIdes went into AMelia Co Va. by 1750 part of the South SIde of Wards Creek Came back 1756 into Lunenburg Co.THere are about 6 of us now in a discussion trying to share info with others to see if it might lead to More information Others are Karen from Charlotte Co. Va. formed from Luneburg Co.Va,Teresa ::Pittsylvania Co. Va formed from Lunenburg Co, Peg and Me from Henry Co Va ( Hudson Johnson) Nancy on Samuel Johnson-Johnston of Henry Co, and Pittsylvania Co:: Mary on Lunenburg Co, Brunswick Co. Va. Note :Marys line of Johnson and mine are of the Same Blood Lines off Michael Johnston died 1718 whose families are also in Lunenburg Counties first Tithable list ( We nowk now some are in Prince Edward County) mine and Pegs are in Henry Co.Va. A William Johnson, Samuel Johnson,Hudson Johnson ,James Johnston are part of the tithable lists of HEnry Co. Karen is studying William Johnson- JOhnstons::: Hudson Johnson lives with William Johnson in one of the Census, and in another with James Johnson::::: Nancy has advised that Samuel Johnston married Elizabeth Ballinger in 1778 Henry Co.Tithable List. Samuel also sold property the same acres owned by William Johnson ( possible Karens) on Bantree Creek of Chestnut Creek. Now Nancy advised that James Johnston ( only one James Johnson of Henry Co.Va) is Samuels Brother :: I don't know but someone sent me info that Samuel Johnson also inherited another possible brothers land ( in another County) John H.Johnson and was sued and returned the land. So some might find the e-mails confusing, but is is gathering info on the Johnsons of what was Lunenburg Co. and identifying the Cousin lines off Micheal Johnson and Rachel Watson. We welcome all discussion on these Johnson-Johnston families Thanks Tony ----- Original Message ----- From: [email protected] To: [email protected] Sent: Friday, October 31, 2003 10:23 AM Subject: Johnson Families of VA Did you just post the information on the Johnson families to aide another, or are you also a Johnson researcher.
