I have had to unsubscribe for a while--long vacation, etc, illness in the family--and have not kept up too well with the genealogical world. I have tried several times just now to access www.tlcgenealogy.com where in the past I have purchased a number of books of records of Southside counties, particularly Lunenburg and Halifax. Now this website seems to be among the missing. I tried google.com and still couldn't find the website. Does anyone have any news--good, I hope???? E.W.Wallace
I asked this same question on a SC mailing list last March. On Feb. 8th I placed an online order (according to their new web site it was the only way you could order) and received an e-mail order confirmation notice. I'd been a long time customer and had always received my orders promptly but after sending e-mail messages to the customer service and owner's addresses, I called the 1-800 number (which had been disconnected) and mailed a letter to the s-mail address. I never did get a response from anyone. So the news is not good and it's really sad to see such a great company end this way.
