Tony I am a HUDSON researcher of Chestefield/Henrico/Amelia etc area and couldn't help but notice your Hudson JOHNSON/JOHNSTON plus that you had DNA testing. Some of us are embarking on the DNA route for the Hudsons utilizing FamilyTreeDNA.com site. By chance, did you also use that group for your DNA testing? Since I suspect the name Hudson came from the maternal side, I took the liberty of posting your entire query to the HUDSON list and also the Hudson Family Association List in hopes someone can make a connection with you. Thanks for your help and Good hunting Joan In a message dated 10/3/2003 7:07:05 AM Eastern Standard Time, [email protected] writes: > Date: Thu, 2 Oct 2003 08:59:45 -0700 > From: "TJstubby" <[email protected]> > To: [email protected] > Message-ID: <[email protected]> > Subject: [VA-SOUTHSIDE-L] Johnson-JOhnston Research > Content-Type: text/plain; > charset="iso-8859-1" > > Hi all, I am searching for a Few Johnson-Johnston, well some that lived on > Wards Creek, Turkey Cock Creek, and Baretree (Bantree) crek of Chestnut Creek. > My Hudson Johnon sometimes Johnston is on the 1778, 1779 and 1780 Tithable > list.On this list are a couple of other Johnsons > 1778 list::William Johnson > James Johnson and Hudson Johnson in Same House > Samuel Johnson > 1779 list William Johnson > Hudson Johnson Treb.Tax > Samuel Johnson > James Johnson > Jacob Johnson Treb.
