I, too, was raised on milk toast and always loved it! Even now it one of my "comfort foods" when I am down in the dumps, sick, missing my childhood or simply don't know what I really want to eat. I tried passing this "gourmet meal" on to my children but not one will eat it. Oh well-more for me! (PS: " Milk Toast" was also what my grandmother called men with no back bone!) Donna Rochelle/Padgett/King and related lines VA/NC and wherever they are..
