I am going to jump in on this one because I think I know the answer. My mother fixed it on occasion and I hated it. You heat milk. Place a piece of buttered toast in a bowl and pour the milk over it. It is called milk-toast. UCK!!!! Fond childhood memories most of the time. :) Margaret
