OOPS!! I forgot to tell where the graves are located! I think I remembered everything but my brain that day. I have listed everything again though. Location of the graves: Birch Creek Road, Keeling, Pittsylvania Co., VA Directions: from Danville: from 29 north, take right on Malmason at stop light after the two modular home dealers (I forget their names) if you hit the Chatham exit you've gone too far from Malmason, take left on Keeling at the Swan Lake campground sign Keeling will lead you to 360, take a left from 360 turn right on Birch Creek Rd (st rd 713 if the sign is down again) another way: from 58 east, pass airport, turn left onto st rd 729 at Airport Coin Laundry on 729, about 10-12 miles, turn left on Birch Creek Rd on Birch Creek, keep going until past bridge (if you hit 360 you've gone too far) graves are off a long dirt road on the east side of Birch Creek Rd. dirt road is marked by two white pillars marked with house numbers 1935 and 1939 go down the dirt road until you have passed the two houses on the right of the dirt road the graves are approx 300 yards down from the second house on the right the graves are covered by weeds pretty badly right now ( I know where they are and I had to hunt a few minutes) I had to knock the weeds down from around the stones to photograph them here's what is on the stones again (medium sized stone) Raleigh Ashby Dawson son of Spencer & Lizzie Dawson May 9, 1911 Nov 7, 1947 Gone but not forgotten (medium sized stone) Virginia E. Dawson Mar 19, 1916 June 16, 1918 Not dead but sleepeth (metal marker from Wrenn Yeatts funeral home) Clara Mae Pruitt 1931-1931 (small stone) Wade Maynard Hall son of Mr & Mrs G.L.
