I have ancestors who were counted twice in 1830. They were enumerated in one county just before they left and in the other almost as soon as they arrived. Could that explain it? Mickey, I think there are numerous reasons. From my example it appears the person giving the info in the 1st. location was *not* one of the family. I'm sure family would have known Milly's given name! They were probably living in this area while working for someone in the neighborhood but *usually* lived at the other location.
