I've researched the Wilborn/Wilbourne family for more years than I care to count.... The family you listed is "put together".... There is no definitive proof of Richard Wilborn (1 or 2) being kin to the John Wilborn you have listed as the 3rd generation. Also there is no proof that a John Wilborn ever married a Sarah Chapman....no one knows where this information came from....it appeared on earth on the Internet one day....and everybody thinks it's carved in stone and when you question it no one will reply to your emails or they just say "someone on the Internet told me" If any one has proof of this marriage PLEASE let me know!! John Wilborn, Jr died 1819 and his will is in Deed Book 18, page 180 Mecklenburg Co VA. He mentions his wife Sarah... Their ten known children: 1. Achilles married Eady Harde. He was born ca 1777 this date was determined by the Personal Property Tax records of Mecklenburg Co Va. 2. Thomas married Phebe Moore 3. Sally Wilborn 4. John Wilborn m Martha "Patsy" Smith 5. William Wilborn married "Milly" 6. Nancy Wilborn married Vincent Hite, son of Stanley Hite 7. Susannah Wilborn married Obadiah Smith 8. Delphia Wilborn married George Smith 9.
