There is a will for a Nathaniel Hedgman, written 13 October 1699, in Lancaster County Virginia that was never recorded and was not abstracted in Ida J. Lee's book of Lancaster County Wills. The original is at the Library of Virginia in their bound volume of unrecorded wills and deeds, page 128 of the Library of Virginia volume of loose wills and deeds. He names in his will the following people: 1. Wife Margaret, sole executrix 2. Son Nathaniel Hedgman 3. Son Peter Hedgman 4. Daughter Elizabeth Thompson Signed by mark. Proved 1699. Witnesses Peter Killgore ?, Robert Schofield ? One other. These are nearly illegible.
