I can not remember if Stafford County is included in our discussions or not? The archives show 416 old messages that contain Stafford County in them. So I assume that the county is not off-limits. But perhaps I am not asking my question in the best place. I am interested in knowing more about a marriage between John Salmons and Eleanor McCarty that is said to have taken place in Stafford County in 10 April 1748. There are 212 messages that contain the surname McCarty, so I do believe that McCarty may have been a NN name....No messages containing Salmons, so it is not likely to have been a NN surname. Any one know anything about this couple? Or recognize the McCarty family who was likely to have been in Stafford County in the mid 1700's? Marsha Moses
