That's a good question. I think the children of Stokely-2 Towles populated about half of the South East and good part of Texas and Missouri. The descendants of his brother Henry-2 Towles remain in the Northern Neck to this day. Two of them are my neighbors. A third of is a real estate client (would anyone like to purchase Towles Point? It's for sale) In case anyone is wondering, the name is pronounced TOLES. Sometimes you'll find it spelled that way.
