    3. I should also mention that Alexander Morehead, Sr., who married Hannah Cockrell, mentioned the following in his 1743/1744 will (I haven't posted his will to the Tree yet, but intend to do so): To granddaughter Hannah Haynie “fifty acres of land joining to the land of Charles Nelms dec’d, negro girl Manee and negro child Rachel, to her and the lawfully begotten heirs of her body, and if no heirs the land to fall to my daughter Anne Moorehead, and the negroes to be equally divided between my son Alexander and my daughter Ann Moorehead.” This is intriguing because the 1719 will of Elizabeth (Presley) Sanders Cockrell states the following (transcription from Alice Algood): "Item:  I give and bequeath unto my son-in-law Charles Nelms and my son Presley Cockareall, and to my above daughter Hannah Cockarell, and to their heirs and assignees forever all my lands lying in Yocominico in the county above and to be divided equally between them." Thanks. Craig and Jim, thanks again for your help with the tree and answering my questions.   I have added Ann Morehead who married Bartholomew Dameron as well as a portion of her pedigree (there's still a lot more work to do here).  I don't know if this will work the way I'm hoping, but here is Ann Morehead's tree here: http://trees.ancestry.com/tree/30617119/family?cfpid=12299842223 If the above link doesn't work, the other way to find her is to click Sarah Ball (from the main NN Tree page) who married Christopher Dameron and then click their son Bartholomew Dameron.   You should then see Bartholomew Dameron's wife Ann Morehead and click her tree. The sources for Ann Morehead's tree include a Northumberland Co., VA bond dated Dec. of 1755 (scanned copy from the microfilm has been added to the tree).   It's hard to read (poor microfilm quality), but gives some family relationships for Ann Morehead's siblings including Alexander Morehead, Jr. who married Jane Wildy and Elizabeth Morehead who married Richard Haynie and had daughter Hannah Haynie who chose Bartholomew Dameron as guardian (the bond notes that Ann Morehead married Bartholomew Dameron).   I am also using an article by ML Coles and the work of Alice Algood as sources for the Morehead family information and their Cockrell/Presley/Thompson connections.    I don't have copies, but Algood in her book also cites an article entitled "The Preslys - Their Legacy to Northumberland" by Isabel Gough in the Bulletin of Northumberland County Historical Society, Vol. VI, #1.   If anyone has a copy of this newsletter and could send a scanned copy or post it to the tree, I would appreciate it. If anyone has comments, I would appreciate hearing from you. Thanks. David
