I referred her to Mary Miller's *Place Names of the Northern Neck* but at the time could not find my copy of the book. Well, of course it did turn up, and here is the entry on it: "Dickinson's Mill. Mill. Richmond County in the inventory of Robert Carter's estate. (Possibly present Garland's Mill.)" If this is the case, then finding the location is not difficult. Miller's book gives the precise coordinates for Garland's Mill Pond on Garland's Mill Road near Warsaw. Craig
