    3. Elmer - As was described on the Virginia History listserv, the Stafford County Order Book, 1749-1755, has been completely scanned and is available on the Library of Virginia's website. It has not been transcribed into a digitally searchable format, but there is a manuscript index in the front of the book. You can see it at http://digitool1.lva.lib.va.us:8881/R/EH2GQSFIJU1AF4T6LUUF396EPCPDI6512FHAXQ4CTKL22AY7SH-00064?func=collections-result&collection_id=1586 (Item 47) Donald L. My 4th Great Grandfather William Thorn was from Stafford Co until his land was later included into Prince William Co. The Thorn family, The Reneau-Reno family , the O'Rear family The Carter Family, The Sanford Family are just a few names of my family from there in that particular time period. If you could point me in the direction of anyone that could help me on these records I would greatly appreciate it. Sincerely Elmer Thorn Missouri
