Hi all, I have to chuckle at some of the epitaphs an legends that come with some of the burials I am working with for the upcoming War of 1812 Veterans' Burials in Virginia. This one is a good one: "Legend tells us that he was so mean to his wife that she buried him face down and covered his grave with a with a three foot wall of stone and place one huge stone on top of that to ensure he would never return to this earth." This was for John Gilliam, died 1828 in Buckingham County. We don't know the name of the widow. Craig
