    3. Thanks Janean.   Patience Newman who married John Ford and Mary Newman who married Andrew Morton had a brother Thomas Newman who (as I understand it) did live in Richmond County, VA (same county as Tarpley & Glasscock).   I believe Patience Newman Ford moved there as well.   I'd say their family could be connected "somehow" to Alexander Newman.   Still don't know if or how Robert Newman connects though.   Thanks again. Right now he's concentrating on getting these Ball lines straight and I'm probably not helping the situation but he has me confused right now with giving me two different emails stating EdwinConway3 married to Anne Ball d/o Joseph and also to Mary Ball d/o James.  So I'm waiting to straighten that out so I can continue connecting my dots.  It doesn't help Craig in trying to conduct the orchestra if the musicians can't read the music. That’s how this stuff just keeps getting passed around wrong because of one wrong misstep...... And it throws the whole thing off. But there is a Capt. William Nutt father to an Elizabeth Nutt that was the widow of Capt. Alexander Newman.  She then m. John Tarpley my 8th great grandfather who was b. abt. 1165/70 and also was married to sisters Elizabeth and Ann Glascock. This NUTT Craig is referring to is not the same but sure is related.
