    3. Hi Janean,   Who did Elizabeth Nutt marry?   I have Newmans I've been looking at including Robert Newman who was supposedly related somehow to the spouses of William Presley and Nicholas Morris (both ancestors of mine) based on some records from the 1650's (alternate theory is that Robert Newman's wife Elizabeth was related to the spouses of Presley & Morris).   We also have Newman sisters Patience who married John Ford and Mary who married Andrew Morton (died c. 1683).   I'm not sure, but think this Andrew Morton (died c.1683) was son of Andrew Morton who died about 1677.   Also, Andrew Morton (died c.1683) had sister Elizabeth who married first to Clement Lattimore and second to George Bledsoe.   This Elizabeth (Morton) Lattimore Bledsoe mentioned son Richard Lattimore, daughter Elizabeth Nelms, and granddaughters Winifred Nelms and Mary Berry in her will of 1708 (which was witnessed by Alexr. Mulrain, Richd. Smith, and Damol Dunaway.     Thanks. Nutt be then a ........grandson? to Capt. William Nutt who was the immigrant to James City, and father of Elizabeth Nutt Newman Tarpley?  Not trying to get off the beaten path just asking and I'll leave it at that for now if so. If it is just tell me by which son so I can add the son and connect that DOT. 3. According to Craig, Joseph Addison Carter Jr. but that’s another story for another time I guess... Right now he's concentrating on getting these Ball lines straight and I'm probably not helping the situation but he has me confused right now with giving me two different emails stating EdwinConway3 married to Anne Ball d/o Joseph and also to Mary Ball d/o James. So I'm waiting to straighten that out so I can continue connecting my dots. It doesn't help Craig in trying to conduct the orchestra if the musicians can't read the music. That’s how this stuff just keeps getting passed around wrong because of one wrong misstep...... And it throws the whole thing off. But there is a Capt. William Nutt father to an Elizabeth Nutt that was the widow of Capt. Alexander Newman. She then m. John Tarpley my 8th great grandfather who was b. abt. 1165/70 and also was married to sisters Elizabeth and Ann Glascock. This NUTT Craig is referring to is not the same but sure is related.
