Janean: You have got this a bit messed up! Let's try again here. (YES, it is confusing) It was Edwin-2 (not Edwin-1) who married (2) Sarah Fleete(?). His first wife was Sarah WALKER, who was the mother of his three children: 1. Mary Conway, mar (1) John Daingerfield and (2) as his 2nd wife, James Ball of Bewdley, by whom TEN children but only EIGHT who survived infancy (and her). The two who died in infancy were Mary (first of the name) and Edwin. After baby Mary died, another daughter named Mary was born. She is the one who married Richard Selden in 1741. And it was THEIR son, Richard, Jr. who married Elizabeth Chinn, daughter of Joseph-2 Chinn, and widow of William O. Nutt. This is a rare case of someone having a middle initial prior to the Revolutionary War. I don't know who his parents were but I suspect it can be figured out, or somebody else here on this list has already done so. ___________________________ 2. Edwin Conway III who m (1) abt 1704, Anne Ball, daughter of Joseph-2 Ball, Sr. & Elizabeth (Romney?) They had a daughter Mary Conway as well, but she did not marry James Ball. In fact, I don't know who she married. I'm still working on this line. 3. Francis Conway. According to *Gordon Kinship* he married Rebecca Catlett. This book says Francis was the son of Edwin-2 by his 2nd marriage to Elizabeth (-----) Thompson. I'm not sure that this is correct, as we've discussed here before.
