Some of the powerful features of this list coupled with the DNA project include: 1. All the participants have ancestors in the same area - this is a big plus 2. This list provides a built in communication method - responses to all requests are pretty much guaranteed, with excellent help from every one else on this list. 3. With our NN Tree we already have a robust Tree that is easy to access and update. Our Common Ancestors should be much easier to find. 4. All of the participants are generally known to each other so they will be easy to pick out as matches. 5. A technical detail is that the DNA Admins will be able to look at all participants and form groups of matches that helps target Common Ancestors.
