Joy, Could I please ask for a search of the book for any /all entries for the Clemens family? John Law married Hopy Clemens in Harrison County in Nov of 1800. I can not find the names of Hopy's parents. Perhaps the land records might help. A search of the book for land records of John Law might also help, especially if the name of his wife is included.
