Hi List, I am new to this list, this is my first day on it. I research several surnames in the Virginia area. Most of my research has been Loudoun Co. Ashford is one of those. It was William Ashford father Michael Ashford who died in Loudoun Co. Va. in 1804. William was his son I believe and a son in law was John Rightmire, this I have by way of the will of Michael Ashford. I did not know that William Ashford was a possible Tavern owner until today.
