He was born Nov.10,1858 WV Maybe Harrison Co) ?? not for sure. Married Victoria Colenbaum B-May 6,1860 Their children: 1 John A ( .D- 1952 Lockport Ny ) Married Louise ? 2 Nora b- Sept.20,1879 3 Artie b- Aug. 1881 4 William Arthur b- July 17, 1883 5- Sarah J b- April 6,1887 6 Harry L b- Sept 6,1889 Would someone on this list tell me where I should go to look in what co in Va to look for them.? The census index for 1860 shows Floyds in Marion Co. and I do not have any books on that county. There were two Floyd families in Monongalia co. in 1860 but he was not there. > Was Harrison Co the name of this co in Va also? Yes, Harrison Co. VA became Harrison Co. WV. So, try Marion County, WV.
