I really don't have a whole lot on Joseph: Joseph Kerns babt 1826 in Randolph co., (W)V; died about 1864 at the Droop Mt. Battlefield, WV. Father: William Kerns and mother Nancy Hardman Parsons, widow of George Parsons. He was married to Martha Truman b 18 Mar 1833 in Kanawha County, WV, and died about 1860. The only child I have for them is Isaac Nathan kerns b 1860 Gilmer Co., (W)V. Joseph was married, probably first, to: Martha Jane Hedricks b abt.1830 in Kanawha Co. (W)V. Their children were: Robert bc 1848; Nancy bc 1850; Warden bc 1852; Jackson bc 1854; Perry bc 1860. Hope this is of some help. If you have any info that differs or to add, please let me know.
