Here is one RANDOLPH COUNTY VA Marriages Brady, John Ware, Susanna 12 March 1808
Hi. Thank you for taking the time to respond to my query. I am aware of this particular John Brady, who married Susannah Ware. I think it's poassible that this JOhn fathered my John by his first wife, whose name and any other information is unknown. However, I have no evidence whatsoever to back this up. My 2nd G grandfather, John Brady Jr., who married my 2G grandmother, Elizabeth Britton on August 12, 1830 is my biggest brick wall and of course, the one I REALLy want to find! AS a child I was told how our John Brady was descended from the famous Captain JOhn Brady, the indian fighter, who married Mary Quigly and had 13 children. According to family lore, our Bradys came from PA and travelled first to VA/WV and after living there for some amount of years, moved on to Indian territory, which I later learned was White County, Indiana with his two tiny daughters. they had six more children, five more girls and one boy, named Nataniel/Nathan. They lived out the rest of their lives and are buried there. Thanks again.
