NO we didn't use that derogautory term .. But our kids heard it enough and sometimes came home crying.. I still do not use it. but Brat yes but not because of being in service no. IT was hard enough in some areas for kids to be accepted and do school with out that. I did hear it but it was rule we used. COWELL HUFFMAN DODD in this area 1870 on.. Susi
