Enough said before we have a good old WV mountain/hills neighborhood battle. Everyone has opinions, but it is time for genealogy in the group. We don't want to start another battle. Words has started many of wars in the past and they can hurt people. It is time for a roll call of surnames you are working on -- Look in the closet for some of these missing pieces of your genealogy. You don't know what you might find. Each day gets harder on some of the ones in the 1800's and 1900's that are not on record. If you want to talk about battles let talk about the French and Indian War. Who knows much about it, because it could help in finding missing people. If you don't know, ask questions. Sample -- How did it start? Where was the first battle? Sue

Can someone confirm (or disprove), add to (or subtract from), or otherwise shed light on this Preston family listed below? Samuel Worley Jeffreys was my great grandfather and I have a book with entries written by his wife Sarah Hamrick that lists her children but not her siblings. And I'm not positive that I have his parents correct. Any help appreciated.
